New Representation Office in Roma
Our historical Showroom in Roma is now closed. We were sorry to leave. But we have more ambitious projects: we are pleased to officially announce our partnership with LUXANTIA, leader in high-end luxury real estate.
We want to even more intimately tie fine art, design art, interior design and finally real estate in a unique experience.
Our mission is to broaden the concept of art and lifestyle by tying fine art, design art, interior design and finally real estate in a unique experience. This means selecting, developing, planning, and executing projects for private art collections. Sometimes, this means finding the perfect space, too.
Starting from October 2022, Luxantia offices in Italy will be hosting the Italian headquarters of 11HH. Always in the center of Rome, in the iconic Via del Babuino, one step away from the famous Spanish Steps.

MALENA MAZZA ‘Prize MIA Fair 2022‘
Congrats to Malena Mazza, winner of the Purchase Award at Prize MIA Fair 2022 – IRINOX SAVE THE FOOD I Edition. Her “Convivio” will be exhibited during the XI edition of MIA Fair, which will take place from April 27 to May 1, 2022 at SUPERSTUDIO MAXI in Milan. Thanks to the partnership with Fiere di Parma, the exhibition will be also hosted at the Complesso Monastico San Paolo in Parma in conjunction with CIBUS, the international Made in Italy food fair, from May 3 to June 5, 2022.

PIETRO CAMPAGNOLI “LIMES” (2021)
Selected Project for XIV Bienal de La Habana

We congratulate Pietro Campagnoli for his Special Project “Limes” in Havana Biennial. From his experience as a volunteer, at the beginning of 2020, in the refugee camp of Moria in the city of Lesbos (Greece), Pietro proposes a particular approach to architectural precariousness that characterizes these contexts, and seeks to generate, from art, a platform for reflection on sociological and cultural notions. “Limes” is a piece made up of a reproduction of three houses in 1: 1 scale, which imitate the homes of the refugees in the Moria camp, and built with “pallets”, a specific material of greater value in the construction of these temporary houses, where urban and architectural precariousness mimics fragility, impermanence, instability and the ephemeral.

DOMINIQUE AGIUS ‘Vanitas’
A warm welcome back to Dominique Agius, who will bring his passion for photography and his deep admiration for the classical Masters for the first time in United States.
The exhibition will be an homage to Caravaggio and to George De La Tour. These undisputed masters of chiaroscuro not only knew how to depict light, but also mastered perspective and composition like never before.
“Vanitas” shows some of the recurrent themes in Baroque paintings combined with an extremely precise composition to remain as faithful as possible to the Masters. The characters are isolated on dark backgrounds, leaving a feeling of closeness and intimacy, underlined by a precise illumination and an impeccable composition.
This series was technically very demanding. In order to remain faithful to the Baroque paintings, several images had to be put together to recreate the specific lighting of chiaroscuro. Only lit with a flash, some scenes needed up to seven images to reproduce the deep shadows of the candle light.

KAWAMURA GUN ‘Shy Nudists’ first legs on USA’
We’re glad to announce Kawamura Gun Solo Exhibition at 11HH MIAMI.
‘Shy Nudist’ first legs on USA’ is the final frontier of the Shy Nudists, the apotheosis of the paradoxical universe of Kawamura Gun. The nudists shyly venture into the everyday panorama, breaking rules and roles with their nakedness. The nudists are masked because once stripped of their own identity they feel no shame in doing anything. The conviviality, the neighborhood games, the picnics, the city marathons are taken back to a neutral, blank mask where the eyes are missing and the emphasis is on the mouths. Mouths are eating, smiling, laughing, baring teeth, trying to show their intentions, or hiding in silence.

DEPERO. Futurism & Advertising.
A retrospective on Futurism and on Fortunato Depero.
“The art of the future will be powerfully advertising art.”
So wrote in the early 1930s Fortunato Depero, the futurist artist who more than any other will contribute to the evolution of advertising in Italy. His historic collaboration with Davide Campari made him a true symbol of the new industrial culture.
Painter, sculptor, set designer, costume designer and graphic designer, Depero remodeled the concept of lettering and illustration with the aim to obtain the strongest visual impact and create posters and billboards that immediately polarized attention.
Depero’s advertising revolution shaped the collaborations with important Italian companies such as Magnesia and Acqua San Pellegrino, Strega liqueur, Schering pharmaceutical, and above all with Campari, for which he also designed the iconic bottle in the shape of an inverted goblet in 1932, confirming himself as a precursor of product marketing and branding as we know them today.
Depero revised and reshaped the canons of poster, focusing on visual immediacy, essentiality of forms and strength of the typeface. His gritty, aggressive and explosive style, characterized by bold coloristic combinations of spot colors, still makes him a source of inspiration for contemporary designers today.

DOMINIQUE AGIUS ‘Vanitas’
We’re glad to announce Dominique Agius Solo Exhibition at 11HH ROMA.
‘Vanitas’ was born of a desire to combine Dominique Agius’ passion for photography and his deep admiration for the classical Masters of painting. It is an homage to Caravaggio and De La Tour, these artists undisputed masters of chiaroscuro who not only knew how to depict light, but also mastered perspective and composition like never before. This science of perspective and of illumination of its rendering on materials, its dramatic side, its modeling and the volumes it highlights is nothing other than a photographic work ahead of times.

In its 300 ft booth 11HH Art Gallery will be presenting a new artwork from the series “MEGAGONG” by the Italian visual artist and sound designer Marko Guglielmi Reimmortal.

The new series by the Master of the Existential Naturalism, outcome of his research around the pictorial material.
We’re glad to announce Antonio Pedretti Solo Exhibition at 11HH ROMA. This exhibition is an important moment of conjunction between the successful series of the ‘Bianchi Lombardi’ and the ‘Bianchi Periferici’ – presented at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa in 2018 – and the new collection dedicated to “Racconti del Bosco (Tales of the Wood)”. The works of this new cycle are based on a more careful and profound analysis of the sensations that nature transfers to us, and supported by a continuous research on material manipulation. The thin line between informal and figuration is confused in the story of the regeneration of nature, and the muddy marsh macerates and dissolves the organic substances to restore life to other natural forms.

The backlight system is specifically conceived to create a peculiar ‘suction’ effect, the optical illusion of a perceptive void at the center of the vision.

PIETRO CAMPAGNOLI ‘Altrove | Elsewhere’
“Elsewhere is where I belong. A unique place no one will ever tear me from.”
We’re glad to announce the first Solo exhibition by Pietro Campagnoli at 11HH Roma. Pietro’s new works represent everyday objects, such as laces, which refer to his childhood and to an intimate sense of refuge and protection.
Some works mark exact dates to represent precise moments of his youth, some others mark domestic places full of symbolic significance and memories. The alcove and the house represent a safe shelter, a timeless metaphysical and metaphorical space. “Elsewhere” is where the artist belongs, a unique place no one will ever tear him from.
Pietro is born in Turin in 1994, where he lives and works. He started working as a professional in 2011, under institutional patronages of primary importance such as: Regione Piemonte, Fondazione CRT Cassa di Risparmio di Torino, Compagnia di San Paolo, Opera Barolo, Dipartimento Educazione del Castello di Rivoli, Dipartimento Educazione Fondazione Merz, Fondazione Pistoletto, Centro Studi Bianca Tosatti Parma.
